is that apple designs products for the end user. Microsoft designs products for channel partners and IT departments. And it shows.

What I like about this post is that it doesn’t necessarily make the point you think it makes.
It has some latitude for interpretation.
Microsoft’s approach certainly hasn’t hindered them in making large profits. Unless, that is, you consider the relative performace of the two stock prices over the last 5 years.
