Yeah well, better late than never I guess. I just read your famous Rwanda comparison, called Telus, canceled my data plan and told them to visit your blog to find out why. My PDA phone does WiFi and although it will be more of a hassle to get connected, I doubt I’ll miss Telus’ ridiculously slow and outrageously expensive data plan.

I’m so disgusted by Canada’s protectionist policies at consumer expense that only apply to a select few industries such as telephony and satellite television. Fookem, I’m out.

Hi Thomas — This story the other day inspired me to finally write a blog post about the subject as well. I’m *so* fed up with the data rates.

I almost wish I lived in LA again.
