The fact it was developed in Rails in a short time period is mostly irrelevant - although it does show the power of being able to take an idea and whip it up quickly. Pursudo is far from a done deal. We'll keep evolving along with it as the community grows.<br><br>The project really did grow out of the frusration Pete encountered using traditional dating sites, and the fact that it's almost impossible to write about yourself. In fact, even though Pursudo started out as a "dating site", it quickly evolved to encompass many sorts of activities outside dating as you'll see on the site now. Hell, even I found an activity there, and I'm a boring married guy with no use for a dating site anymore (I met my wife on one though!).<br><br>Lastly, as far as all the brouhaha over The Comments goes... I hope the women offended come back with a demo and put the boys in their place. Pursudo really was a labour of love for us at Unspace.
