I live in the rural area my only choice for internet net is dial up, but I fall in range of the 3g. 50% of canadian population is in the 6 largest cities. the 3g plans makes me feel like I'm just being ripped off by scam. dial up no days are useless only thing you can run on 2KB/sec is IRC. theses companies need to rethink there plans and what they charge.

I have a plan with fido for unlimited internet with the hiptop phone which is not bad. I have to pay $20 more for that, but the problem is that when I am using the internet I cannot get any phone calls, which sucks. I always wanted imagined a phone where we would be able to see the person I am talking to, and it is very possible by todays techonology but money is the problem. If you have phone like HTC Tytn and evdo you can chat and see each other, but it is not possible cuz we don't have the money. Imagine paying a million dollar bill just for video chat.
